The user takes a stance with the sword held horizontally and pointing backwards held with the other hand, and then wait for the enemy blow inside his area of attack. As soon as the enemy tries to attack, the user let the blade go and aim for the enemy blade, deviating it while slashing his enemy in a vital spot, usually on the side of the belly.
This is a counter attack, and requires the user to reserve an action on their turn. If an opponent attempt to attack you, you may instead attempt to attack them first. You may attempt a single attack at your highest base attack bonus against the user's AC. If the attack hits, it is treated as a critical hit, regardless of the crit range of the weapon used, and the opponent's attack is considered interrupted. If the attack fails, you are treated as flat-footed against the attack, and if the opponent's attack hits, it is automatically considered a critical hit as well.
